New Mexico High School Basketball - Sandia succumbs to Los Lunas
December 21, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87110 The Los Lunas Tigers topped the host Sandia Matadors basketball team by a final score of 60-41 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 2. Los Lunas will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Scorpions enter the game with a 8-0 record after their 54-29 non-league win over Monument Valley (Kayenta, AZ).
The Matadors (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Albuquerque Academy prevailed over Moriarty (Moriarty, NM), 40-23, in a non-league battle.
