Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the GEO Next Generation Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA), saw GEO Next Generation's basketball squad knock off Slaughter Community Charter by a count of 42-27.

With the victory, GEO Next Generation upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Abramson (New Orleans, LA) to encounter the Commodores in a non-league test on Wednesday, January 3. The Commodores go into the test with a record of 5-3. Abramson lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA)

The Knights now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. Edmund for a non-league test on Friday, December 22.
