December 21, 2023: Cumby, TX 75433 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Miller Grove Hornets (Cumby, TX) and the visiting Redwater Dragons (Redwater, TX), saw Miller Grove's basketball squad wallop Redwater by a tally of 56-26.
With the victory, Miller Grove improves its record to 8-13 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Detroit (Detroit, TX) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-17. Detroit won 39-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Campbell (Campbell, TX)
Next up, the Dragons confront the Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX) in a 3A Region II District 14 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Redwater will attempt to improve on its 1-19 season record.
