December 21, 2023: Grand Rapids, MI Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Michigan Aviation Academy (Grand Rapids, MI) and the visiting Phoenix Falcons (Kalamazoo, MI), saw West Michigan Aviation Academy's basketball squad overcome Phoenix by a tally of 44-29.
With the victory, West Michigan Aviation Academy improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The travel to North Muskegon (North Muskegon, MI) to confront the Norsemen in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Norsemen come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
Next up, the Falcons confront the Grand River Prep (Kentwood, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Phoenix will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 65-21 non-league loss to Black River (Holland, MI).
