Michigan High School Basketball - Lee holds off Phoenix
February 22, 2024: Kalamazoo, MI 49008 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lee Legends (Wyoming, MI) and the host Phoenix Falcons (Kalamazoo, MI), saw Lee's basketball squad hold off Phoenix by a tally of 26-22.
With the victory, Lee improves its record to 2-16 on the campaign. The Legends travel to Muskegon Catholic Central (Muskegon, MI) to confront the Crusaders in a Alliance challenge on Friday, February 23. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Muskegon Catholic Central won 57-23 in their recent league challenge against Grand River Prep (Kentwood, MI)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 27. Phoenix will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 63-38 league loss to DeWitt (DeWitt, MI).
