In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Chariho Chargers basketball team scored a close 42-40 win over the Scituate Spartans.

The Chargers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI). The Rebels come into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, South Kingstown edged Juanita Sanchez Complex (Providence, RI), 68-44, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the St. Patrick Academy Padres (Providence, RI) in a Division 3 contest, on Monday, December 23. Scituate will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Padres come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 71-48 league loss to Times Squared Academy (Providence, RI).
