December 21, 2024: Los Lunas, NM 87031 Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM), 61-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Espanola Valley upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Sundevils travel to Capital (Santa Fe, NM) to face the Jaguars in a non-league match on Monday, December 23. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 5-5. Capital won 51-49 in their recent non-league match against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM)
The Jaguars now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belen for a non-league match on Thursday, December 26. Valencia will face a Eagles squad coming off a 49-35 non-league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.
