New Mexico High School Basketball - Los Alamos toppled by Espanola Valley
February 15, 2025: Espanola, NM 87532 Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), 53-42 in a league match.
With the victory, Espanola Valley upgrades its record to 20-5 on the year. The Sundevils travel to Taos (Taos, NM) to face the Tigers in a 4A District 2 match on Friday, February 21. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 13-10.
The Hilltoppers now sport a 5-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taos for a 4A District 2 match on Tuesday, February 18. Los Alamos will face a Tigers squad coming off a 47-36 league win over Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 13-10.
