In Saturday's non-league test, the New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) basketball squad trounced the host Grace Christian School Kings (Mechanicsville, VA), by a score of 64-40.

Next, the Gryphons clash with the North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) in a VISAA Division II test, on Tuesday, January 7. New Covenant will attempt to improve on its 10-1 season record.
