The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Portage Indians (Portage, IN) and the visiting Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN), observed Portage's basketball team overwhelm Kankakee Valley by a score of 70-43.

The Indians (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Plainfield (Plainfield, IN). The Quakers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Plainfield trounced Perry Meridian (Indianapolis, IN), 75-50, in a league challenge.
