December 21, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70124 The Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA) basketball were winner over the visiting Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls (Kenner, LA), 44-30 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cubs now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Carver Collegiate Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. Mt. Carmel will play a Rams team coming off a 65-31 non-league win over St. Mary's Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Rams record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Swamp owls travel to Sumner (Kentwood, LA) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3.
