Oregon High School Basketball - Thurston bested by Liberty
December 21, 2024: Hillsboro, OR 97124 Liberty Falcons (Hillsboro, OR) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR), 36-24 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Liberty advances its record to 4-4 on the year. The Falcons travel to Sandy (Sandy, OR) to face the Pioneers in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8. The Pioneers enter the match with a record of 1-6. Sandy won 36-26 in their recent non-league match against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR)
The Colts now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aloha for a non-league match on Friday, December 27.
