December 28, 2024: Hillsboro, OR 97124 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Falcons (Hillsboro, OR) and the visiting Mountain View Cougars (Bend, OR), observed Liberty's basketball team edge Mountain View by a score of 43-39.
The Falcons (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sandy (Sandy, OR). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Sandy edged Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR), 36-26, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Saint Joseph Jesters (Lakewood, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 30. Mountain View will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Jesters come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 78-69 non-league win over Crater (Central Point, OR).
