December 21, 2024: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236 The University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) ice hockey trounced the visiting Grosse Pointe North Norsemen (Grosse Pointe, MI), 8-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Knights now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Allen Park for a non-league bout on Monday, January 6. University Liggett will play a Jaguars team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Carlson (Gibraltar, MI). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-12.
With the defeat, Grosse Pointe North moves to 4-6 on the season. The Norsemen travel to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to play the Oilers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. The Oilers go into the bout with a record of 1-9.
