Virginia High School Basketball - Virginia High tops Abingdon
December 22, 2022: Abingdon, VA 24210 Virginia High Bearcats (Bristol, VA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA), 57-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Virginia High upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Graham (Bluefield, VA) to play the G-Men in a Southwest bout on Friday, January 6. The G-Men come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Falcons play the Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Abingdon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 75-55 league win over Grayson County (Independence, VA).
