New York High School Basketball - Pembroke crushes Akron

December 22, 2022: Corfu, NY 14036

Pembroke Dragons (Corfu, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Akron Tigers (Akron, NY), 62-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pembroke upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Dragons host Notre Dame (Batavia, NY) to play the Fighting Irish in a Section 5 Genesee County bout on Friday, January 6. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Tigers play the Eden Raiders (Eden, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Akron will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
