Tennessee High School Basketball - Central nips Christian Brothers
December 22, 2022: Memphis, TN 38166 Central Tigers (Little Rock, AR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Christian Brothers Purple Wave (Memphis, TN), 56-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Central upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Rossview (Clarksville, TN) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Rossview won 58-51 in their recent non-league bout against Wilson Central (Lebanon, TN)
Next up, the Purple Wave play the Ravenwood Raptors (Brentwood, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Christian Brothers will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Raptors go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 68-32 non-league win over Portland (Portland, TN).
