December 22, 2022: Vernon Hills, IL 60061 Libertyville Wildcats (Libertyville, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL), 62-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Libertyville upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Maine West (Des Plaines, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 2-11. Maine West won 65-58 in their recent non-league bout against Waukegan (Waukegan, IL)
Next up, the Cougars play the Jones Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Vernon Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 57-37 non-league win over Harlan (Chicago, IL).
