December 22, 2022: Buckland, MA 01370 The Mohawk Trail Regional Warriors basketball team (Buckland, MA), was overwhelmed 79-51 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Smith Academy Falcons (Hatfield, MA)
The Falcons now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Greylock Regional for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 27. Smith Academy will confront a Mounties team coming off a 57-54 non-league loss to Hoosac Valley (Cheshire, MA). The Mounties record now stands at 1-2.
The Warriors (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mahar Regional (Orange, MA). The Senators come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Mahar Regional was overwhelmed by Hopkins Academy (Hadley, MA), 61-53, in a league battle.
