Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) and the host Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA), saw Ponchatoula's basketball squad overcome Walker by a tally of 84-65.

With the victory, Ponchatoula improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Green Wave travel to St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 23. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. St. Michael won 69-58 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Amant (St. Amant, LA)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Catholic-B.R. Bears (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 23. Walker will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record. The Bears come into the contest with a 8-2 record after their 68-38 non-league win over Huntington (Shreveport, LA).
