Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lodi Flames (Lodi, CA) and the host Kennedy Cougars (Sacramento, CA), saw Lodi's basketball squad hold off Kennedy by a tally of 28-23.

With the victory, Lodi improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Flames host Lincoln (Stockton, CA) to confront the Trojans in a challenge on Monday, January 9. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 10-1.
