Michigan High School Basketball - Athens crushes Southfield Arts & Tech

December 22, 2023: Troy, MI 48085

Athens Red Hawks (Troy, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Southfield Arts & Tech Warriors (Southfield, MI), 66-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Athens upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Red Hawks travel to Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Edison Academy Pioneers (Detroit, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Southfield Arts & Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 72-59 league win over Old Redford Academy (Detroit, MI).
