Illinois High School Basketball - West Aurora knocked off by Brother Rice
December 22, 2023: Chicago, IL 60655 The Brother Rice Crusaders basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting West Aurora Blackhawks to 40 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Crusaders now sport a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainfield East for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Brother Rice will meet a Bengals team coming off a 74-48 non-league win over Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 5-7.
The Blackhawks (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Manual (Peoria, IL). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Manual ran past Peoria (Peoria, IL), 57-33, in a league contest.
