Ohio High School Basketball - Chippewa nips Northwestern
December 22, 2023: West Salem, OH 44287 Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Northwestern Huskies (West Salem, OH), 69-65 in a league bout.
With the win, Chippewa upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Chipps host Dalton (Dalton, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Wayne County bout on Friday, December 29. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-3.
Next up, the Huskies play the Strasburg-Franklin Tigers (Strasburg, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Northwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 73-30 league loss to Malvern (Malvern, OH).
