The Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS) basketball felled the visiting Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS), 87-79 in Friday's league test.

The Falcons (12-3) will now prepare for their test against New Albany (New Albany, MS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, New Albany thwarted Amory (Amory, MS), 67-50, in a non-league test.

The Rockets now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Morton for a non-league test on Friday, December 29.
