Tennessee High School Basketball - Germantown overwhelms Raleigh-Egypt
December 22, 2023: Memphis, TN 38128 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Germantown Red Devils (Germantown, TN) and the host Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs (Memphis, TN), saw Germantown's basketball squad wallop Raleigh-Egypt by a tally of 69-38.
With the victory, Germantown improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Houston (Germantown, TN) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 23. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Houston won 58-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Memphis East (Memphis, TN)
Next up, the Pharaohs confront the Craigmont Chiefs (Memphis, TN) in a 3A District 15 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Raleigh-Egypt will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 77-53 non-league loss to Trinity Christian Academy (Jackson, TN).
