Ohio High School Basketball - Mathews winner over Jackson-Milton
December 22, 2023: North Jackson, OH 44451 The Mathews Mustangs (Vienna, OH) basketball felled the host Jackson-Milton Bluejays (North Jackson, OH), 58-46 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against St. John (Ashtabula, OH). The Fighting Herald go into the Northeastern bout with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, St. John was knocked off by Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH), 71-34, in a league bout.
Next up, the Bluejays clash with the Lordstown Red Devils (Warren, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Jackson-Milton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 71-43 non-league loss to Champion (Warren, OH).
