Louisiana High School Basketball - Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy fells Morgan City
December 22, 2023: Morgan City, LA 70380 Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy Tigers (Lafayette, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Morgan City Tigers (Morgan City, LA), 71-63 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Tigers host Episcopal of Acadiana (Cade, LA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 11-4.
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Morgan City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 50-32 non-league loss to University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA).
