Michigan High School Basketball - Lakeview topped by Montabella
December 22, 2023: Blanchard, MI 49310 The Montabella Mustangs basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Lakeview Wildcats to 27 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashley for a Mid-State contest on Wednesday, January 3. Montabella will battle a Bears team coming off a 50-39 non-league win over Owendale-Gagetown (Owendale, MI). The Bears record now stands at 2-4.
The Wildcats (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Coleman (Coleman, MI). The Comets come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Coleman prevailed over Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI), 55-45, in a league contest.
