In Friday's non-league outing, the Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN) basketball squad felled the visiting Trinity Lutheran Cougars (Seymour, IN), by a margin of 52-44.

The Shiners (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Indian Creek (Trafalgar, IN). The Braves go into the non-league outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Indian Creek thwarted Martinsville (Martinsville, IN), 60-57, in a non-league outing.
