Kentucky High School Basketball - Paul Laurence Dunbar ripped by Dixie Heights
December 22, 2023: Lexington, KY 40513 The Dixie Heights Colonels basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs to 36 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Friday.
The Colonels now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Henry Clay for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 23. Dixie Heights will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 64-49 non-league loss to Christian Academy-Louisville (Louisville, KY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-3.
The Bulldogs (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Clermont Northeastern (Batavia, OH). The Rockets enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Clermont Northeastern was routed by Whiteoak (Mowrystown, OH), 59-23, in a non-league contest.
