Oregon High School Basketball - Knappa holds off St. Paul
December 22, 2023: St. Paul, OR 97137 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Knappa Loggers (Astoria, OR) and the host St. Paul Buckaroos (St. Paul, OR), saw Knappa's basketball squad hold off St. Paul by a tally of 54-51.
With the victory, Knappa improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Loggers travel to Weston-McEwen (Athena, OR) to confront the TigerScots in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The TigerScots come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. Weston-McEwen won 65-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Nixyaawii Community (Pendleton, OR)
Next up, the Buckaroos confront the Southwest Christian Wildcats (Beaverton, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. St. Paul will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 40-29 non-league win over Sherman (Moro, OR).
