Oregon High School Basketball - Knappa holds off Kennedy
December 8, 2023: Astoria, OR 97103 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Knappa Loggers (Astoria, OR) and the visiting Kennedy Trojans (Mt. Angel, OR), saw Knappa's basketball squad hold off Kennedy by a tally of 49-46.
With the victory, Knappa improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Loggers travel to Southwest Christian (Beaverton, OR) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Southwest Christian lost 51-48 in their recent non-league challenge against South Wasco County (Maupin, OR)
Next up, the Trojans confront the East Linn Christian Academy Eagles (Lebanon, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Kennedy will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 50-46 non-league loss to Regis (Stayton, OR).
