Oregon High School Basketball - Southwest Christian can't hold off South Wasco County
December 9, 2023: Maupin, OR 97037 The South Wasco County Redsides basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Southwest Christian Wildcats to 48 in the Redsides non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Redsides now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Irrigon for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. South Wasco County will battle a Knights team coming off a 42-32 non-league loss to Umatilla (Umatilla, OR). The Knights record now stands at 1-4.
The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Knappa (Astoria, OR). The Loggers enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Knappa nudged Kennedy (Mt. Angel, OR), 49-46, in a non-league contest.
