In Friday's non-league outing, the Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) basketball squad edged the visiting Westside Seminoles (Macon, GA), by a count of 37-33.

The Knights (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Callaway (Hogansville, GA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Callaway held off Lanett (Lanett, AL), 50-15, in a non-league outing.

The Seminoles now hold a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mundy's Mill for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 28. Westside will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 50-23 non-league loss to Northgate (Newnan, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-4.
