The Floyd County Buffaloes basketball team scored 90 points and held the host Giles Spartans to 63 in the Buffaloes league triumph on Wednesday.
The Buffaloes now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Radford for a Three Rivers contest on Monday, December 28. Floyd County will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 49-28 league win over Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-0.
The Spartans (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Cavaliers enter the Three Rivers contest with a 0-0 record.
