Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Our Lady of Mercy Academy Mustangs (Syosset, NY) and the visiting St. Joseph Hill Academy Hilltoppers (Staten Island, NY), saw Our Lady of Mercy Academy's basketball squad overcome St. Joseph Hill Academy by a tally of 71-60.

With the victory, Our Lady of Mercy Academy improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Holy Trinity (Hicksville, NY) to confront the Titans in a Catholic - Long Island challenge on Friday, January 20. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.
