The Carmel Christian Cougars basketball team (Matthews, NC), dropped 77-65 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC)

The Chargers now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Cabarrus for a 4A Greater Metro battle on Friday, January 5.

The Cougars (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Carolina International (Concord, NC). The Comets come into the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Carolina International prevailed over East Ridge (Chattanooga, TN), 60-44, in a non-league battle.
