New Jersey High School Basketball - Cranford fells South Plainfield
December 23, 2023: Cranford, NJ 07016 Cranford Cougars (Cranford, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ), 68-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cranford upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to New Providence (New Providence, NJ) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 26. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 3-1. New Providence won 42-38 in their recent league outing against Johnson (Clark, NJ)
The Tigers now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Edison for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 27. South Plainfield will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 60-45 non-league win over Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
