The West Las Vegas Dons basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Espanola Valley Sundevils to 60 in the Dons non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Dons now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pecos for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. West Las Vegas will meet a Panthers team coming off a 60-50 non-league win over McCurdy (Espanola, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 5-3.

The Sundevils (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Hope Christian nudged Goddard (Roswell, NM), 69-33, in a non-league contest.
