Maine High School Basketball - Mountain Valley beaten by Lincoln Academy
December 23, 2023: Rumford, ME 04276 In Saturday's league match, the visiting Lincoln Academy Eagles basketball team scored a good 56-42 triumph over the Mountain Valley Falcons.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the New Dorp Central Cougars (Staten Island, NY) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 28. Lincoln Academy will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record.
With the defeat, Mountain Valley moves to 1-3 on the year. The Falcons travel to Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME) to meet the Raiders in a B South test on Saturday, December 30. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 1-3. Oak Hill won 58-41 in their recent non-league test against Waterville (Waterville, ME)
