Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) and the host North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC), saw West Henderson's basketball squad overcome North Buncombe by a tally of 70-61.

With the victory, West Henderson improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Memphis University (Memphis, TN) to confront the Owls in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. Memphis University won 50-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Little Rock Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR)

Next up, the Black Hawks confront the Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. North Buncombe will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 43-35 league loss to Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC).
