California High School Basketball - Oak Ridge nips Monterey Trail
December 23, 2023: El Dorado Hills, CA 95762 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Oak Ridge Trojans (El Dorado Hills, CA) and the visiting Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA), saw Oak Ridge's basketball squad hold off Monterey Trail by a count of 45-39.
With the victory, Oak Ridge upgrades its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Trojans host Bear River (Grass Valley, CA) to play the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 23. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Bear River lost 57-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA)
Next up, the Mustangs play the McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 5. Monterey Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 51-25 non-league win over St. Francis (Sacramento, CA).
