December 23, 2023: Stamford, CT 06902 The Westhill Vikings ice hockey squad scored 7 points and restricted the visiting Hamden Green Dragons to 2 in the Vikings non-league victory on Saturday.
With the victory, Westhill moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME) to face the Crusaders in a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. The Crusaders go into the contest with a record of 0-1. John Bapst Memorial lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against Camden Hills (Rockport, ME)
The Green Dragons now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host North Branford for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Hamden will face a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to Watertown/Pomperaug (Watertown, CT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-1.
