Hamden Green Dragons (Hamden, CT) fans left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Hand Tigers (Madison, CT), 8-2 in a non-league match.

The Green Dragons (10-7) will now prepare for their match against Guilford (Guilford, CT). The Grizzlies enter the Southern Connecticut - DII match with a 9-5 record. In their last match, Guilford was trounced by Cheshire (Cheshire, CT), 9-3, in a league match.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - DII match, on Wednesday, February 21.
