December 23, 2024: Upper Glade, WV 26206 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Webster County Highlanders (Upper Glade, WV) and the visiting Meadow Bridge Wildcats (Meadow Bridge, WV), observed Webster County's basketball team overwhelm Meadow Bridge by a margin of 65-38.
The Highlanders (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against New Life Christian Academy (Summersville, WV). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, New Life Christian Academy trounced Varsity Opponent (, ), 63-26, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Meadow Bridge will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 58-49 non-league loss to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA).
