December 23, 2024: Deming, WA 98244 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA) and the visiting Granite Falls Tigers (Granite Falls, WA), observed Mt. Baker's basketball team knock off Granite Falls by a score of 49-36.
The Mountaineers (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Meridian prevailed over Blaine (Blaine, WA), 60-53, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Vashon Island Pirates (Vashon Island, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Granite Falls will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 57-6 non-league loss to Seattle Christian (SeaTac, WA).
