Nebraska High School Basketball - Perkins County can't hold off Mitchell

The Mitchell Tigers nipped the host Perkins County Plainsmen basketball squad by a final score of 48-44 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Tigers face the Southeast Cyclones (Yoder, WY) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 6. Mitchell will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Cyclones enter the outing with a 3-5 record after their 47-34 non-league win over Rock River (Rock River, WY).

The Plainsmen (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Hemingford (Hemingford, NE). The Bobcats enter the C2 District 12 outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Hemingford got by Leyton (Dalton, NE), 78-39, in a non-league outing.
