In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Somerset Sky Pointe Eagles basketball team scored a close 56-51 triumph over the Canyon Springs Pioneers.

The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln County (Panaca, NV). The Lynx enter the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Lincoln County was nudged by Adelanto (Adelanto, CA), 61-30, in a non-league match.

The Pioneers now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thousand Oaks for a non-league match on Thursday, December 26. Canyon Springs will face a Lancers squad coming off a 64-43 non-league loss to Crespi (Encino, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-7.
