December 26, 2023: Baltimore, MD 21236 The Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD) basketball crushed the host Perry Hall Gators (Baltimore, MD), 72-43 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Leopards (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Edgewood (Edgewood, MD). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Edgewood was trounced by C. Milton Wright (Bel Air, MD), 64-57, in a league test.
The Gators now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Pikesville for a Baltimore County 2 test on Wednesday, January 3. Perry Hall will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 58-24 non-league loss to Century (Sykesville, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 1-6.
